FMS 1/10 Land Rover Discovery, Officially Licensed
From 1980 through 2000, the world famous Camel Trophy stood as the ultimate test of endurance, skill and machinery. It wasn't about who was fastest, it was about who survived the terrain, worked as a team and kept the vehicle in one piece. Land Rover became the backbone of that event, and the Discovery, launched in 1989, was the model that proved capability and comfort could sit in the same vehicle.
FMS brings that legacy to the workbench with the officially licensed 1/10 scale FCX10 Land Rover Discovery. Scale mirrors, snorkel, working spotlights and a fully detailed interior sit inside a durable PC soft plastic body with pre-installed headlights, reverse lights and mudguards, so it looks the part and survives the knocks.
Underneath, the FCX10 chassis is built to work as hard as it looks. Front centre motor layout, four-link suspension and straight axles front and rear keep the power down and the traction up, while a low mounted motor and transmission keep the centre of gravity down too, so it stays planted rather than tipping over on the technical stuff.
