The Truck Monster Returns Policy

1. Our Returns Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

This policy is in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


2. How to Start a Return

Items sent back without first contacting us will not be accepted.


3. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a return, items should be in reasonable condition.
You may handle and inspect the item as you would in a physical shop.

If the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to check it, we may deduct an appropriate amount from your refund to reflect any loss in value.

Returning an item in its original packaging is appreciated, as it helps protect the product during transit, but it is not required by law.

If the item is returned without its original packaging and this results in damage, wear, or a reduction in the product’s resale value, we may make a fair and reasonable deduction from your refund in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


4. Return Postage Costs

  • Change-of-mind returns: you pay return postage. We recommend a tracked service with insurance for the full item value.

  • Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: we will cover the return postage or refund your postage costs.


5. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please check your order as soon as it arrives.

Contact us immediately if:

  • your item is faulty

  • your item is damaged

  • you received the wrong item

We will resolve the issue quickly with a replacement or refund.


6. Items That Cannot Be Returned

We cannot accept returns of:

  • personalised or custom-made items

  • items that have been intentionally damaged or modified

(We do accept returns of sale items — UK law requires this.)


7. Your Legal Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK customers have the right to:

  • cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the item, for any reason

  • return the item within a further 14 days

We will refund the item price and the cost of standard delivery (if paid).

You must pay return postage for change-of-mind cancellations.


8. Exchanges

If you want to exchange an item, the quickest method is:

  1. Return the item you have

  2. Once the return is accepted, place a new order for the replacement item


9. Refunds

We will notify you when we have received and inspected your return.

If approved, we will refund you to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to process the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us.
